It's been a couple months, so I guess I should probably update this thing again. I'm sitting in my photography class, trying to get ideas for our next assignment. A digital five-series illustrating a fairy tale. I don't know which one I'm going to do yet. I like way too many fairy tales.

I've heart from all my colleges, and been accepted to all of them except the University of Florida. I decided to go to SUNY Buffalo where I will study Classics (Ancient Greek and Roman History). I'm beyond excited for school, and spend way too much time on the Buffalo facebook group and the school website. I ordered a sweatshirt that I wear constantly. Gah, I'm so looking foward to the big bad college monster.

I have a prom date. After 11 rejections, I finally have one. It's ~Jabul. Although, if you're reading this, your either Sara or Jon, so you probably know anyway. I'm havign trouble finding a dress, so my mom and I have devoted this upcoming week off school to finding a good dress. Then I need a dress for Senior Banquet and another for graduation.

This weekend Im going into the city for New York Comic Con. I'm really excited for that, too. I need some new animal hats for when I go to school. Buffalo's really cold and those hats are really warm.

So, things have been going pretty smoothly as of late, which is a bit of a change. I'm hoping this lasts for a while. Maybe through the end of the school year, which is total of thirty-some-odd school days more. It's just my birthday, the Lit and American APs, Prom, VY day, finals, banquet and graduation. Then I'm done. Left with nothing but a summer to spend relaxing before school starts in August.

It's 2008. I suppose I should set some New Year's Resolutions. And I'll get to that eventually, but first there are somethings I need to acknowledge.

I kicked my AP US History midterm's ass today. I finished it about 5 minutes ago and it was on its fifth page. For 10 questions. Take that, American Presidency.

Also, I am officially going to college now. I haven't heard from the University of Arizona, which is my first choice, yet. However, I have officially been accepted to SUNY Albany and SUNY Binghamton. That's two down and five to go.

*BitterApples is God. I feel like I say this a lot, but it's true. For Christmas she made me my lovely DevID. Which is much better than ~Jabul. I mention them all the time. I've always wondered why he goes by Jabul. I know where BitterApples comes from, but not Jabul. It's kind of strange. I must get him to tell me.


So back to the New Year's Resolutions
1. Stop slacking with the school work.
2. Start going to yearbook with some regularity.
3. Read less (147 books this year, I kept track).
4. Post more on here. I have a ton of black and white film photography that needs to be put up and I've started working with my digital stuff on photoshop. So look for it. Granted, it would be much easier if people actually commented.
5. When posting journal entries, whether here or on my LJ, write more before starting a new paragraph. While a two line paragraph is nice on occasion, I do realize that they should not all be that long.
6. Keep in touch with Mrs. Miller.

I have a ton of photos to scan and put up here. I'll get around to it eventually.

I have officially (it took my 4 tries to spell that right) applied to 5 colleges. Only 4 more to go. One of the school's I'm applying to has a $70 fee. At this rate it won't matter who accepts me because I'll have already spent all my money on the freaking applications.

Ding-dong ding-dong... Donana phone... Oh how I love those wonderful people from PotterPals.

Umm, I decided what I'm going to get evBitterApples: for the nondenominational winter holiday gift giving season. Aaaaand... I just bought it. It's a super secret. However, I am bad with secrets so she will probably know what I am getting her long before the NWHGGS comes.

I have to do a sculptural project for photo, so I think I'm going to build a mini-apartment building and put different photos in the windows.

I currently have three computer windows open. All of them are on DA. One to write this, one to look up all hte ways to insert pretty stuff into this, and another one looking at art.

~Jabul and ~BitterApples introduced me to those At the Moment Comics by :SilentReaper:. He likes Food for Thought, she likes Restaurants and, after my own browsing, I find myself quite partial to SightSeeing. You should totally check them out. Granted Jon and Sara are probably the only ones reading this, and they've already seen this.

Which reminds me, you two need to add me to you DevWatches.

~Jabul was teaching me all about fractals. Kind of cool, but it involves math so I'll never be able to do it.

~BitterApples says she'll make me a DeviantID for Christmas. So excited.

I guess I've let that last journal entry sit long enough. Almost three years. Bad Alessandra, bad Alessandra.

So what have I been up to these last three years? Sleeping.

I took photography, which is awesome. I really like it. (Please excuse me, it's past my bedtime and therefore too late for good word choice.)

In other news, I love ~BitterApples. She's the most awesome person in the entire history of all awesome people, be they dead, alive, real or fictional. Seriously. And what makes her that awesome? She just has that untangible, natural awesomeness.

Enough sucking up (I don't actually mean sucking up, but as I mentioned it's late.)

School starts in about three days and I have a sty growing on hte top of my right eye. Now, I'm not a particularly vain person, but it's the first day of senior year, and I'd really rather not have giant lump on my eye.

So, there really isn't much more to say without proving my insanity, so I will leave you with a limerick:

Forget that. The only words that rhyme with Sara, are other names. Drat!
